===== Projects =====
FOSS4PRO
As a member of the FOSS4PRO project, his main task is to uncover the structural
properties of the self-organized collaboration network of (successful) Open
Source Communities and to identify universal metrics for activity measurement
and community self-assessment. This involves the application of results from
physics and (social) network-theory to this particular phenomenon of
decentralized group production to derive a practically relevant basis of
decision-making for professional contributors.
Furthermore he supports the 'FOSS Innovation Platform' with practically
relevant guidelines for community building and maintenance, as well as Open
Source Software usage policies for interested companies.
