CIP - Clinical Information and Performance

This project follows upon a real willingness of the Union des Caisses de Maladies and two hospitals to invest in domain of clinical intelligence and performance. Two others hospitals manifested there interest to participate actively in the task groups.

The CIP project's objectives are:

1 - Improve the knowledge concerning the patient's follow up 2 - Implement an information system 3 - Identify the majors problem of follow up 4 - Improve the performance of follow up in the side of quality, security and costs 5 - Facilitate the changeover from an organizational information system to a decision support system 6 - Support the hospitals for their performance and services evaluation 7 - Measure and evaluate the outcomes and their quality 8 - To concern and to educate users to the approach “Clinical Intelligence and Performance”

The partners are:

• Le Laboratoire des Technologies Industrielles (LTI)
• la ZithaKlinik ( Zitha)
• Le Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch

The project will also create a users'group which, a priori, the Hopital Kirchberg and the Hopital Saint Louis want to participate to.
