LaboViewer 1.3

The LaboViewer Software is a free, multi-platform Viewer for Laboratory Results transmitted via Healthnet.
The Viewer was developed by the CRP Henri Tudor and can be freely downloaded. The Viewer is currently available for Windows, MacOS X and the Linux platform.

Version 1.3b2 is the latest version of the LaboViewer Result Viewer Software.
The new version includes the following improvements:

• Batch mode allows automatic download and decryption of results.
• Physician keychain shows expiry date of listed private keys.
• Preliminary laboratory.dtd incorporating future extension for Antibiograms.
• Fixed a bug causing manually entered passwords to be lost even though 'Remember It'-checkbox was checked.

• After downloading the Windows Binary, double-click at setup-v1.3b2.exe
• You do not need to install any other software. A Java virtual machine (1.4.2_05) is included with this download.

• After downloading the MacOS X Disk Image, double-click the image file (LaboViewer_v1_3b2.dmg) to install the LaboViewer application.
• You need to install a Java 1.4.1 (or later) virtual machine. You can download one from Apple's Java web site
• Furthermore, you'll need to install the Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction policy files. Please have a look at the README.txt file inside the Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction folder for more information on how to install the policy files.

• After downloading the Linux Binary open a shell and, cd to the directory where you downloaded the installer
• At the prompt type: chmod +x setup-v1.3b2.bin
• At the prompt type: sh ./setup-v1.3b2.bin
• You need to install a Java 1.4.1 (or later) virtual machine. You can download one from Sun's Java web site
• Furthermore, you'll need to install the Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction policy files. Please have a look at the README.txt file inside the Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction folder for more information on how to install the policy files.
