Optimage now supports Semi Automatic Segmentation. The DIGI-13 Phantom of IBA Welhöffer is the first phantom using SAS. Improvements in the segmentation of the PAS Phantom for all supported vendors.

• Improvements in the segmentation of the PAS Phantom for all supported vendors. The segmentation works now for 99.5% of our images.
• The framework is enhanced by the possibility to add also semi automatic phantom segmentation. The segmentation can be switched to semi automatic by the new button close to the verify button. The button will become red and active if the phantom of the selected profile supports semi automatic segmentation. When pressing the button the DICOM Viewer window opens and you have to select the “Select Corners” button and select four neuralgic points of the phantom.
• The IBA Welhöffer DIGI-13 is now implementation as first phantom the semi automatic segmentation. You only have to mark the four crossings of the inner borderline of the phantom surrounding grid lines and press then verify button. Now the mask of the measured areas should fit. In the viewer window you can now also rotate the images, this can be used to rotate the Digi-13 images so that the lead bar pattern on the left side of the phantom.
