Since 1995, all newly employed have to pass a medical test in a center of Working Health. The Service de Santé au Travail Multisectoriel (STM) is the medical center for the companies, which do not have their own medical department. To guarantee the service in all regions of Luxembourg, STM has four structures (Luxembourg, Esch/Alzette, Ettelbruck and Grevenmacher) and 3 mobile sites. The quality and the efficiency of the service are guaranted by a distributed Database which contains medical records of all the employees which have passed by STM and all the Companies files. The different sites are connected by the Intranet HEALTHNET Luxembourg, which allows secure connections.
