Since 2008, Marcos Da Silveira is researcher at the Public Research Center Henri Tudor, Luxembourg – department SANTEC, Advanced Health Informatics Unit. His research interests includes Knowledge Representation, Security Systems, Petri Nets, and Probabilistic systems. The applications interests include eHealth platforms, Adaptive Careflow, Service Oriented Architecture, Clinical Decision Support Systems.
He received the Ph.D. in Industrial Informatics from Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, France, in 2003. He did a postdoctoral research at LAAS - CNRS (Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems - National Center for Scientific Research), group DISCO (Diagnosis, Supervision and Control), Toulouse – France. He had worked 5 years as associate professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Parana (PUCPR), group Production and System Engineering (PPGEPS/PUCPR), Brazil and 2 years as scientific collaborator at University of Luxembourg, Laboratory for Advanced Software Systems LASSY.
