  • Confocal/Apotome microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, ion microscopy and respective sample preparation techniques (cryofixation AFS, CPC, CFD), ultramicrotomy, immunocytochemistry.
  • Mass spectrometry: Maldi-TOF and dynamic SIMS (NanoSIMS).
  • Development and use of new isotopic markers for SIMS and Maldi-TOF.
  • Cell culture, bacteria culture, proteomics (2D DIGE gels, western blots, protein extractions and separation).
  • Software development for the processing and analysis of imaging and sequencing data.
